What is SEO ??
Search engine optimization is one of the most complex process that you have to do in order to get traffic for your website vie natural/organic search results. In order to have your website listed in the top search engine results you will have to use certain methods that will get you there. If you search for information about search engine optimization you will see that, in order to start getting traffic from organic search results, you will need to optimize your website. This includes, making a site structure that is SEO friendly and in the same time user friendly, which means that you will have to make your website easy to navigate on, and to find a certain page. You will need to provide links for all the pages of your website, so that the search engines will be able to find them. Another thing that you need to do to your website is to put up a lot of high quality content. The more pages your website has, the bigger the chances that you will start getting organic traffic you website will have. When you will be writing content for your website, you can write articles that are optimized for a certain keyword, and if you would like to rank for that keyword you will have to use that keyword a couple of times in the article. This way it will be easier for you to rank better. Also you can use meta tags for your pages, write a small description of your website/page, and also put there the keywords that you would like to rank for. This doesn't help too much, since the other factors are a lot more important, but you will have to do everything you can in order to get the your page in top 10 SERP. And once you have done all that, you have an impressive website, with a lot of content, and also a lot of on page factors done right, all you have left to do is start to take care of the off page search engine optimization. This include link building. Building up a solid amount of back links is one of the most difficult jobs in search engine optimization. It's something like once you have discovered a way to get many high quality backlinks to your website you have discovered gold, since you will be able to rank well for any keyword. Right now there are two types of SEO techniques: the white hat, and the black hat. The white hat includes doing everything you can by using the techniques that are considered safe, and the black hat can be done by using link farms, and search engine spam. |
